Kathy is the saint (aka Angel);
who has taken in both Mom & Dad (twice divorced) to live with her family under the same roof.

Things she's heard:
- Mom in her glory cuz she gets to DRIVE again!
Dad playing "bumper cars."
Maggie's leading the train!
- Mom: "Kathy, what can I do to help you out?
- Me: "Can you make Dad a ham sandwhich?"
- Mom: "is he crippled?"
- Hired a tree pruner today. Hope she doesn't charge by the hour.
- Driving with Mom & Dad
- Maggie to Grandma: "How come Grandma always gets the front seat, and you get stuck back here with us?"
- Dad: "She needs more room for all her b.s."
- Nothing funnier than trying to watch two hearing impaired senior citizens try to have a conversation quitely
so they don't wake you up..
"Is that Kathy sleeping there on the couch? I don't want to wake her up!"
"What did you say?"
"I said ..."
- Parents started today with a trip to get the paper (Heidi chaperoned) and then went to breakfast with Nicole and Nolan.
- Took Dad to a Doctor visit and then back to house because we are all going to
a baseball game tonight.
He came back, ate lunch, and laid down on the couch.
Mom came up, asked if he was asleep. I said yes.
She proceeded to walk over there and wake him up so he could see her Brown's shoes.
- Dad has had his hearing aids about two weeks and has lost them no less than 4 times.
Tonight, he looked EVERYWHERE for them and realized he had two in the same ear.
- Anyone else but me find it humorous that Dad's travel bag sits empty on the counter while he has 5, yes 5 razors on
the counter in the one community bathroom we have in this house...lol!
- "Mom, we are making a grocery store run. Do you need anything?"
- "Can you get me a dozen yogurts?"
- I go to put the groceries away, and here is what I see...
